Blaenoriaeth 2 : Datblygu Meddwl Mathemategol trwy’r Dull CPA: Galluogi disgyblion i gymhwyso medrau mathemategol yn annibynnol mewn cyd-destunau dilys trwy ddyfnhau meddwl mathemategol a chryfhau’r 5 Hyfedredd gan ddefnyddio dull CPA (concrete–pictorial–abstract). |

Priority 1: Formative Assessment and Consistent Feedback: Ensure learners develop a solid understanding of their strengths and gain the confidence to improve their learning independently, through formative assessment practices and effective feedback that are implemented consistently across schools. |
Priority 2: Developing Mathematical Thinking through the CPA Method: Enable pupils to apply mathematical skills independently in authentic contexts by deepening mathematical thinking and strengthening the 5 Proficiencies using the CPA method (concrete–pictorial–abstract). |
Priority 3 : Creating a Whole School Environment that Enables Learning: Developing accessible environments that promote positive behaviour, well-being, a sense of belonging and independence based on inquiry. |
Priority 4 : Developing Reading Skills Across the Curriculum: Designing a coherent language curriculum, which is compatible with the Welsh Curriculum, which supports the diverse needs of pupils with a focus on improving pupils’ reading skills across language and the wider curriculum. |
