Trosolwg o Flaenoriaethau CDY 

2025-2026

Blaenoriaeth 1 : 

Asesu Ffurfiannol ac Adborth Cyson: Sicrhau bod dysgwyr yn datblygu dealltwriaeth gadarn o’u cryfderau ac yn magu’r hyder i wella eu dysgu yn annibynnol, drwy arferion asesu ffurfiannol ac adborth effeithiol sy’n cael eu gweithredu’n gyson ar draws yr ysgolion.

Blaenoriaeth 2 : 

Datblygu Meddwl Mathemategol trwy’r Dull CPA: Galluogi disgyblion i gymhwyso medrau mathemategol yn annibynnol mewn cyd-destunau dilys trwy ddyfnhau meddwl mathemategol a chryfhau’r 5 Hyfedredd gan ddefnyddio dull CPA (concrete–pictorial–abstract).

Blaenoriaeth 3 : 

Creu Amgylchedd Ysgol Gyfan sy’n Galluogi Dysgu: Datblygu amgylcheddau hygyrch sy’n hyrwyddo ymddygiad cadarnhaol, lles, ymdeimlad o berthyn ac annibyniaeth yn seiliedig ar ffurf ymholiad.

Blaenoriaeth 4 : 

Datblygu Sgiliau Darllen ar Draws y Cwricwlwm: Dylunio cwricwlwm iaith cydlynol, sy’n gydnaws â Chwricwlwm Cymru, sy’n cefnogi anghenion amrywiol y disgyblion gyda ffocws ar wella sgiliau darllen disgyblion ar draws iaith a’r cwricwlwm ehangach.

Overview of SDP Priorities 

2025-2026

Priority 1: 

Formative Assessment and Consistent Feedback: Ensure learners develop a solid understanding of their strengths and gain the confidence to improve their learning independently, through formative assessment practices and effective feedback that are implemented consistently across schools.

Priority 2: 

Developing Mathematical Thinking through the CPA Method: Enable pupils to apply mathematical skills independently in authentic contexts by deepening mathematical thinking and strengthening the 5 Proficiencies using the CPA method (concrete–pictorial–abstract).

Priority 3 : 

Creating a Whole School Environment that Enables Learning: Developing accessible environments that promote positive behaviour, well-being, a sense of belonging and independence based on inquiry.

Priority 4 : 

Developing Reading Skills Across the Curriculum: Designing a coherent language curriculum, which is compatible with the Welsh Curriculum, which supports the diverse needs of pupils with a focus on improving pupils’ reading skills across language and the wider curriculum.
